Help Us Continue the Fight For Clean Water!

Take action

According to the US EPA, half of our rivers and streams and more than one-third of our lakes are polluted so extensively that they are unfit for swimming, drinking, and fishing. More than 320 toxic substances have been found in US tap water systems. These toxic substances have led to cancer, infertility, congenital disabilities, impaired brain development, and debilitating illnesses. Water is our most valuable resource. We need to protect it as such. Even more concerning, less than 1 percent of the Earth’s freshwater is accessible. Of that, 1 percent half is polluted (Denchak, 2022).

Contaminants enter our water systems through the groundwater and surface water via untreated-waste disposal, unlined landfills, pharmaceuticals, military, chemical industry, agriculture, firefighting foams, and many other methods. ESSHA is a 100 % non-profit dedicated to protecting your human right to access clean drinking water free of toxic chemicals and contaminants. We provide on-site testing for free. We continually research new contaminants and testing methods. We hold companies and governments accountable through legal measures. Lastly, we provide remediation consulting on both large and small scales (Denchak, 2022).

Clean water free of chemicals and contaminants is a human right. Unsafe water has killed more people each year than all other forms of violence combined, including war. By 2050, it is estimated that the water demand will be one-third greater than it is right now (Denchak, 2022).

Help ESSHA protect our most valuable resource, knowing your impact will serve your neighborhood, community, and future generations (Denchak, 2022).
